Here’s a little update on the case of two policemen taking down an Israeli flag during an anti-war protest rally in Duisburg by breaking into a flat.

The Northrhine-Westphalian ministry of the interior has sent me a letter apologizing for the delay in reply to my inquiry as the case was still under investigation. The letter also stated that a lot of complaints about the measures taken by those two policemen had been received and I’d be given further notice once there was some kind of development / resolution.

Let’s see how it goes.

  • I remember German Political Police to enter armed the Cologne Synagogue during the service atthe time of the Lischka-Heinrichsson trial. I was on bitachon and had a very hard time convincing them to come back disarmed. Nowadays German Police is not as bad as the Spanish, Italian (especially the Italian!) and French Political Police (the Quai D’Orsay never communicates with the Gendarmerie!).

Ps.: Compliments for the Challah Hu’ Akbar T-Shirt, but the grammar is wrong! 🙂 It should read “Challah hi’ K’birah”- but that would make loose all the contundancy! 🙂

  • Administratively speaking, looks like Germany is the new Italy.
