Thanks to all of you who have made kind donations to our Save Passover campaign, I spent the morning giving out 27 big boxes of Matza to 7 different households. Each box costs about $8.50 so that gives you an idea of how much money we raised. In any case, it was loads of fun! The guy at the supermarket was all “wtf?” and the shuk lowlifes were trying to figure out what was going on as I scurried in and out of my apartment with boxes of Matza. Man, I am such a sneaky bastard! I used that same routine – “Oh I got these for a shekel each and I have way more than I can use, it would really help me out if you could take these off my hands, thanks so much!” and it worked! No one felt bad and it was kind of fun. People here think I’m a little nuts but whatever!

In any case, Passover isn’t till Wednesday and I know we can do better! There are still people out there who I know can use some basics and I will use my shady ways to get them the food if you use your credit card and make a donation! Furthermore, Google Analytics tells me that 658 people spent an average of 5 minutes reading my guide on how to be a Jewish Twitter God/Consultant. If each of you had donated just say $3, man what a difference we could have made! So go on… get your credit card in hand or get your PayPal account ready and simply click on the donate button below. NO AMOUNT IS TOO LOW! Every little bit counts!! Without your donation, Jewish storytelling will be left to the JTA and other malcontents. Oh wait… bad analogy. I did not specifically authorize those words… Anyhow, you know what to do, so do it!

If you want to make a big donation, need a tax deduction or simply feel that I will spend your money on coke and hookers, please visit the Table to Table Web site and make a donation there while reading about their many innovative programs that aim to fight food hunger and waste in Israel. Like what? Like their Hametz initiative! Instead of throwing away your Hametz, you give it to Table To Table, they sell it, store it, and after Passover give it to food banks and stuff! Neat right?

So yeah, share a little this Passover. No matter how little, I promise you’ll feel awesome afterwards!
