Israel is the land of tech and honey, where innovation touches upon almost every aspect of life. I say almost because it hasn’t touched every aspect, like say doughnuts. This year, like every other year, Israel will produce and consume over 24 million doughnuts. Most will be the same doughnuts we’ve eaten every year, sugar frosted, jelly filled concoctions or at best something with fancy icing. However, the Roladin chain of bakeries has decided to try something new for the first time ever. They are making doughnuts in amazing flavors that come with an injectable shot of sweet alcoholic yumminess. We decided to test these doughnuts on the first night of Hanukkah and here is a video of Jessica trying out the Pavlova – filled with whipped cream, with a wildberry and vodka shot and topped with white chocolate and French meringue. They have other flavors as well and the results were the same all around. AMAZING!

This is what the doughnuts looked like in the bakery. Now they are resting in peace in our tummies. Have a great Hanukkah!!!
