Miley smiles at older Jewish men

Miley Cyrus’ wrecking ball was aimed at 70-year-old Jewish men this week when she said in an interview with HungerTV.com that she doesn’t want creative decisions for her brand made by out of touch older men. She specifically said,

“You know me and Rankin were talking about it. With magazines, with movies, it’s always weird when things are targeted for young people yet they’re driven by people that are like 40 years too old. It can’t be like this 70 year old Jewish man that doesn’t leave his desk all day, telling me what the clubs want to hear. I’m going out, I know what they want to hear. I know when you’re in a club, what makes everyone go crazy and when the time is where everyone’s like “alright I’m going go get a drink”. I know when people walk off the dance floor and I know what’s driving it so I’ve got to be the one doing it because they’re just not in on what 20 year olds are doing..”

(Rankin refers to 47 year old John Rankin Waddell, a UK fashion photographer)

It turns out the her label is RCA,… yes, the Rabbinical Council of America (RCA). They were unavailable for comment, as Friday evening drew near.

I decided to contact Billboard Magazine for some guidance, and I was informed that RCA was actually RCA Records, the descendant of Radio Corporation of America, now part of Sony Music Entertainment. RCA was co-founded by David Sarnoff, a Jewish man from Minsk (or Pinsk). He died at age 80 in 1971, so I doubt Miley Cyrus was referring to him. (Note: Sarnoff was a teenage office boy at CCC. When his boss refused to give him a day off for a Jewish holiday, he quit and joined Marconi, which later became RCA).

Michael Lynton is the CEO of Sony Corporation of America and Chairman and CEO of Sony Entertainment. He is the son of Dutch Jews, but only 53; so Miley Cyrus was not referring to him. Clive Davis is a record producer and CEO at Sony. He is Jewish but 80 years old. So Miley (TIKVAH) Cyrus was not referring to him either. Doug Morris is the current Chairman and CEO of Sony Music Entertainment. He is Jewish and 75 years old. BINGO! WE HAVE A WINNER.

Mr. Morris was unavailable for comment, and I hear from a reliable source that he does not sit around his desk all day.
