In honor of International Women’s Day, I would like to thank g-d and the universe that men & women were not created equal. Women and men are different, therefore in-equal. That doesn’t mean one is better or worse than the other, just that a woman was born with a certain set of tools that men lack, and men have abilities that women do not. Dude, we give birth! That’s incredibly miraculous, and we’re so blessed to do so.

To celebrate this international holiday, all women should get the day off work so we don’t have to pretend we are career-oriented! I know a lot of women who agree but are too afraid to admit it (other than in private conversation, of which I’ve had many) because we’ve been forced to believe that competing with men is good for us. I’m wearing a red dress and red lipstick today to celebrate the fact that I’m feminine, not a feminist.

Sure, some of the women out there in the world are anything but feminine – good for you! I really don’t care. Do whatever makes you happy, but don’t push your beliefs in my face, forcing me and the vast majority of females on earth to feel ashamed for being family-oriented. Guess what? I feel no shame. I am proud to admit that my greatest goal in life is to be a mother, and my greatest passion is life itself. Not career, not climbing the corporate latter, not office politics or trying to compete with men and manly women. I’m passionate about being alive. Family. Religion. Values. Happiness. Laughter. Spreading love and having some babies! *High Five!*

Women, don’t be afraid to admit if this is true for you, too. You don’t have to be equal to a man, you have to be the best woman you can be.

Wear more lipstick! Give more blow jobs! Bake more brownies! Go wild!
