After a four year hiatus, Jewish summer camp for young Jewish professionals is back in California. Join us for Camp Neshama on Labor Day Weekend, September 2-5, 2016, the newest project by the team that brought you Jewlicious Festivals, Camp Jewlicious, Mountain High Shabbat, TikkunFest and more.

Located at a completely renovated and upgraded Jewish summer camp and retreat center two hours from Los Angeles, Camp Neshama will feature four days and three nights of delicious meals, great outdoor activities, Jewish summer camp fun, arts & crafts, awesome people, an inspiring Shabbat program and much more.

Housing options include newly renovated bunks and hotel-style rooms, and we have lots of food options for vegans and others.

Camp Neshama is a reality thanks to the amazing team at the Dovid Oved Retreat Center, Bnai Akiva LA, and the generosity of the Alevy Family.

Why is it called Camp Neshama?

We spoke with two dozen young adults about what we should call this new summer camp concept, and in the end Camp Neshama captures what we hope to achieve. It’s a Jewish summer camp with soul. While some of the young adult summer camps around the country today are really glorified bar weekends in the forest and around swimming pools, we are building this camp to be about more than just a party.
