    That’s really interesting! I’m fascinated by genealogy and I actually found out recently that I’m related to Samuel Pineles, one of the pioneers of Zionism who served as vice-president of the First International Zionist Congress in 1897. Learning about my family’s profound contributions to Zionism, as well as to the societies where they were living, has greatly deepened my sense of Jewish identity.
