  • It could be worse: A friend who grew up in Texas had a neighbor who wished him a “Happy Holocaust” by accident instead of Happy Hanukah.

  • I have to go to a pre-fast dinner at 4 pm PCT but wanted to quickly respond. One of my teachers once said that Yom Kippur should be considered the happiest day of the year because it offers a fresh start.
