Uh, yeahThis Just Never Ends.

All good people everywhere are aghast at the news that Queen Esther Madonna is currently working on writing her own children’s television series. The show, aimed at young girls, “will follow a group of girls who find themselves in challenging situations. The storylines are rumoured to be based on Kabbalah teachings.” Curiously, Madonna who has written childrens books like Mr. Peabody’s Apples, Yakov and the Seven Thieves and Lotsa de Casha as well as Sex (which is decidedly not for children), does not allow her precious spawn, Lourdes and Rocco to watch television. She was recently quoted as saying “TV is trash . . . My kids don’t watch TV.” Newspapers and magazines are also verbotten in the Richie-Ciccone household. So it will probably be a long time before the kids will be able to view any of their parents’ oeuvres. Mind you, if you’ve ever heard Madonna’s American Life album or seen Guy Ritchie’s flop Swept Away, that’s probably not such a bad thing.

Please… Mama, don’t preach.

  • actually, i think they say jewish girls are in fact kinky. but you can’t expect us to compete with a catholic girl, jeez.

  • nothing wrong with selling other people trash but not allowing your kids to have it. if other people allow their kids to have your trash, that’s their problem. I’m writing a trashy movie and my kids won’t be allowed to watch, but when I offer to build a wing at their Yeshiva with the money I make from it, I bet no one will care how I made it.

  • Esther’s gonna be mad at you… didn’t she just comment last week that she’s the official Madonna news poster or something like that? And again, she’s scooped on Madonna news… tsk tsk 🙂

  • The only person I’m mad at is myself…for taking on too many projects and being unable to devote myself to the Madonna beat for Jewlicious or for My Urban Kvetch…may the Material Girl forgive me…
