fun

Calm. Yes – as reflected in the carefree smiles of Esther and Laya, modelling their sweet Jewlicious @ the Beach t-shirts and hoodies by American Apparel. Did I say calm? Heh – it’s a friggin mad house! Things here are actually pretty organized but with less than half an hour before shabat, things are somewhat insane. Everyone’s running around getting last minute stuff done and all that. Standard pre-shabat craziness except this time it’s in preparation for over 200 people. Crazy man. Have a good shabat y’all!

i hope u have a fanshmastic time at the conference! kisses!

  • Good luck with the conference an’ all. I’m sure it’ll all be fine and be a total blast. In fact I did debate booking another ‘flight without enough time to pack’ trip out for the conference but instead I threw on a pair of jeans and spent the weekend with my fam in the shtetl. Cheers. 🙂

  • I want Jewlicious apparel! My friends and family wouldn’t even give a “huh?” look, as I reference Jewlicious far more than the journals I should be researching……I have a student who is doing a project on the history of Barbie, the pros and cons of Barbie, etc, so I gave her some of the info from the site. (As I teach in the public schools, I wrote all over the thing “I am not implying that you should take a religious route on your paper; I am merely providing you with another avenue for discussion of Barbie in the modern world.” So, yeah, I’m thinking that Jewlicious clothing needs to be publicly available to the masses……… (because, sorry ck, the christkiller shirts —-even in irony or jest—– would get me lynched in a non figurative way.)
