bullshit

This was forwarded to me today from a blogger who goes by the name UC Islam. The University of California Irvine is hosting a week long event titled “Holocaust in the Holy Land.” UC Islam, clever moniker, writes that his goal is to apply pressure from the outside onto UC Irvine to cancel the events.

Lets make this the last “Jihad of the Toungue” at UC Islam. We must apply political and public pressure; show those that support UC Islam that their money is being misused, show that state and federal grants are being misused by a school that is hostile to Jewish students.

UC Islam, who has two different blogs here (videos) and here (activism), has three pages of contact information for armchair activists to get the PR rolling. There are lists of politicians, foundations, and media outlets. Wait till the The Simon Wiesenthal Center and Abe Foxman find out! UCI won’t know what hit ’em. That could be 10,000 bubbies breathing down your neck. You don’t want it, really.

UC Islam has given a platform to the worst and most vile anti-Jewish, racist speakers and organizations. They have legitimized students groups that seek the annihilation of the Jewish people. They have stood by while students are intimidated, harassed and bullied because they are not Muslims. They have been silent while the MSU indoctrinates their membership into a sleeper-cell group of radical Islam.

That UC Irvine is hosting a week of vicious lies and anti-Jewish propoganda is nothing new. We have been documenting this for quite some time, and posting films and protesting. There have been extensive meetings, I have been informed by people that were there, between UCI and Jewish leaders. There was even a peace-love meeting sponsored by the Cordoba Initiative at UCI this weekend to promote Jewish-Christian-Muslimpeace, but it will have little affect. The radical MSU students at UC Islam backed out of partaking in the event because the imam was too mellow.

UC Islam writes that the website is dedicated to all people who have died for their religious beliefs at the hands of tyrants and dictators. That is an admirable and honest summary of the reason why I stand up and oppose the agents of Jew-baiting and Jew-hatred. The activities at UCI are part of the continuum of violence against Jews, which creates and perpetuates Jew-phobia, Jew-hatred, and Jew-killing.

  • You would think these punks would notice at some point that the fact that the same two Jews always appear at every single event like this means that they in no way represent the opinion of even a miniscule fraction of world Jewry…but maybe they just don’t care. Whatever keeps them from being called anti-Semites (er…anti-Zionist…’cause, like, they’re Semites too! Of course!)

  • Rabbi Bookstein certainly has his hands full! Amir Abdel Malik Ali was recently at UCLB where beach Hillel and Rabbi Yo protested. During his speech, Ali went on record supporting suicide bombers:

Ali contrasted the weapons available to Israel and Palestine and explained to students what he meant “by any means necessary.””By any means necessary? Yes, by any means necessary. We’ll do it peacefully if we have to; we’ll fight if we have to; we’ll strap bombs if we have to. We will. Why? Because we are fighting against occupation and we don’t have the weapons that they have.”

This apparently is how Ali preaches love and not hate. Fun-O-Ramma! Read the article here – does anyone know who that bearded dude in the accompanying pic, behind Ali is? Hmmm ….

  • Looks like an imposter, a Zionist disguised as a Jew! BTW This protest picture in the 49er shows jsut a few of us. We had people allaround the entire speakers platform carrying signs and flags. The MSA later raised their Palestine by any means flag to great applause, after two students, one Catholic and one Jewish, raised an enormous Israeli flag behind the speaker. There are a dozen pictures here of the protesters. Also notable: The Campus Crusade madea loud prayer circle nearby which was very loud, and a Banda group played nearby which really irked them as well. And one more tidbit: Hillel students had originally planned the yom haatzmaut party for the grassby the speakers platform, but were told to move the party two days prior to the event because of groundskeeping issues. They wanted to seed the area. Well, this seeding never happened, and the MSA were allowed to hold their rally in the same place. BTW the MSA also protested ourIsrael Birthday Party and would eat any cake.

  • Good for the Catholic kid in the photo . . . I have a very different reaction to this sort of thing– a gentile perspective, very different from a Jewish one, I suppose. But far from promoting “Jew-hatred”, as ck suggests– which is no doubt the objective– people and events like this fulfill a vital public service in showing how loathsome and cretinous these folks are.

Think Moussaoui’s pro se turn in US District Court helped recruit for al-Qaeda?

I just read a CNN/AP report on President Ahmadinejad’s peace-loving message to George W. Bush, in which he slams Western democracy and liberalism. To have this rhetoric out there is a good thing. It reminds us of who the enemy is, and what he believes, and only good can come of that.

  • Abdel Malik Ali is a straight-up, undisguised bigot. The sad/scary thing is that it’s the MAINSTREAM Muslim groups on California campuses that regularly give him a platform.

  • At some point you really have to consider taking these assholes out back and giving them the alley whipping of their lives. If they love shahids so much then we should send 1 or 9 dozen to their homes.

  • “Wait till the The Simon Wiesenthal Center and Abe Foxman find out!”

Oh, yeah, that will surelly be something! I’m sure Abe and Simon Wiesenthal Center people will show them! After their press realeases are just sooooo effective, are they not?

Sorry to birst your bubble, people, but Abe Foxman and Simon Wiesenthal Center have long stopped being effective in promoting any just Jewish causes, or in fighting anti-Semitism and bigotry. I can only hope that somebody or some Jewish organization that does more than issue lame press releases will sue UCI, and possibly some of the organizers for hate speach and/or incitement to violence.

    Cheers!
