One group no blog seems to have focussed much on is the fate of the Israeli cow. Her grazing areas are reduced to ashes in Northern Israel. Luckily, necessity is the mother of invention, even for cows. Well, perhaps not so much invention as courage. Well, perhaps not so much courage as the willingness to travel. Some hungry cows followed the paths of human soldiers who had created breaches in the border during the conflict with Lebanon. They happily munched Lebanese grass. So take that, Hizbollah! Thanks New Zealand Citizen for an amusing anecdote.
