You might remember Tasha and Dishka – they’re the two women from Ramle, Israel who created the 4th most watched video on YouTube. With 11,209,323 views and 8282 comments, they remain Israel’s most popular ambassadors as they bounce around Tasha’s bedroom to Hey by the Pixies. The above is their latest video, a retro-themed romp that sees them lip synching to 60’s hit Do You Love Me while wearing stuff like gold and silver lamé clothing and thigh-high gym socks purchased at the Tel Aviv American Apparel store. It’s fun and silly and cute and I think even Dov Charney would approve!

Now if only we could get Tasha and Dishka to be appointed co-Foreign Ministers, I’m sure we’d solve all of Israel’s problems.

  • ok i pride my self on being a straight guy who knows nothing about fashion and other metro sexual stuff. But even i wouldn’t get caught wearing that. 😀

All though the song was really good. I remember watching it on the Looney Tunes when bugs was singing it to a pink rabbit.

  • I hope they’re legal… or will be soon… I rather enjoyed that.

  • “and I think even Dov Charney would approve!”

uuuhhh, well, yeah I think by definition Dov Charney would approve of underage girls in spandex. This video is basically made for Dov Charney…

  • i think they are in there twenties, maybe a lil old for u huh civis romanvs

  • As long as we’re nominating new Foreign Ministers, go ahead and appoint Bar Refaeli as well.

  • For the record, both Tasha and Dishka are in their early 20s and fully “legal.”

  • Hhhmmmmm….have to wonder if they are doing this with their parent’s approval…..

  • Zena: They’re adults. They live at home and are minor celebrities in Israel. I’m sure their parents know all about it.

  • Now if only we could get Tasha and Dishka to be appointed co-Foreign Ministers, I’m sure we’d solve all of Israel’s problems.

Agreed, and that was even before I saw the ending! Nice to see officials-to-be who don’t take themselves too too seriously.
