woof woof mein fuhrerWell, you can go to CuteOverload, a blog that offers a daily shot of cute doggie pics and comments from other dog lovers. If that’s not enough you can also go to Google Images, do a search for dogs and click through no less than 1,870,000 photos and illustrations of your fave cuddly canines.

And what do we have in the number 3 position for such a search? Check it out yourself: why it’s our old friend… Hitler??

Radar Online lets us in on “Hitler’s Art: Dogs” an exhibition of Der Fuhrer’s drawings of doggies displayed by the Hitler Historical Museum at hitler.org, the self-described “non-biased, non-profit museum devoted to the study and preservation of the world history related to Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist Party.” You’ll also find nudes, doodles and flower drawings by the future leader of the Third Reich. The question remains though… why are Hitler’s drawings of dogs ranked so high on Google? And more importantly, why the hell do I give a rat’s ass?

  • Well, to state the obvious, it surely would have been better for everyone if the guy had been admitted to study art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.

As for the high ranking, the image in question probably is not THE best picture of a dog available, so it might mean that many sites link to the hitler.org image with keyword “dogs”, i.e. they employ the usual google-bombing method. Other google-bombing things are e.g. keyword search for “failure”, try it out if you want.

There used to be one with “more evil than satan himself” pointing to Microsoft, but Google does not show it any more as the top hit.
