If you’re in or near New York and feel like being entertained for a good cause, then tonight’s the night!
NewOath.org is hosting what is shaping up to be a very interesting evening to raise funds for the International Medical Corp’s work with Darfurian refugees. Inspired by the work and vision of the Clinton Global Initiative, OATH will bring together people’s of different faiths to address some of the world’s most pressing issues. The genocide in Darfur ought to represent everything all religions stand against. OATH will be a platform for Muslims and Jew’s to emphasize their shared values as they are often blinded by political conflict.
This unique event will feature a wide range of eclectic entertainers. World renowned ballerinas, international circus acts, rock bands (including Pakistani artists Junoon), dj’s, saxophonists and more will fill the historic Angel Orensanz Foundation center on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.
