A few months ago, PresenTense Magazine co-sponsored a performance of an inventive monologue show called “Love and Israel,” which portrays real people’s stories about love, Israel, loving Israel, being tourists in Israel, joining the army in Israel, having a cat in Israel, being in love in Israel, and, by the way, also Israel. (Did I say Israel enough?) Anyway, just got this news from the directors that I wanted to share.
Love and Israel has been accepted to perform in the Eighth Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival this summer. Love and Israel explores the human side of Israel through the eyes of different writers who have a personal relationship with the country. A series of funny, serious, sexy and soul-baring monologues are performed by an ensemble cast. Produced by Sissy Block and Ilana Lipski. Order your tickets for Love and Israel today:

Right now “Love and Israel” is only playing in New York, but the creators occasionally take it on the road. Contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org for details about how to bring it to your town.
