Iran tested missiles today, ones with the capability of hitting Israel. They backed up video with talk:

We want to tell the world that those who conduct their foreign policy by using the language of threat against Iran have to know that our finger is always on the trigger and we have hundreds and even thousands of missiles ready to be fired against predetermined targets…”

Or so says General Salami. The tests were very public and came shortly after Israel’s war games involving F-16s designed to be able to carry out long range missile strikes.

In other good news, Hizbullah is re-armed to the teeth and has 2500 soldiers in southern Lebanon. Anyone else pining for the days when armies would line up, charge, repeat and then call it a day?

  • General Salami?

    That’s really his name?

    What’s next, Colonel Prosciutto?

  • Iran’s generals are actually Italian?

    Good news for Israel!

  • That one guy in there with the shades looks pretty white for a Hezbo, Josh. Mercenary, maybe?

I guess they shuck their uniforms when they hide behind civilians.

  • Those guys are French, perhaps he meant the Katyushas.

Those Shihab 3 missiles that Iran tested have a payload of 1 ton, and the Katyusha (Hezbollah’s rocket of choice in Leb 2) has a payload of 30 kg, thats a bit of a weight difference.

That would be scary as shit having those raining down on Israel, I think they are quite a bit more accurate than the Scuds which Sadaam launched in 91.

Whats the mood in Israel, do they want to strike Iran before they get nukes?

  • Oh, so the soldiers in those pix were French? I thought they looked a little too professional for Hezbo terrorists. And I was wondering about the shoulder patches on the uniforms.

    All makes sense now.

  • please follow up Iranian post with the faked picture. What other parts of the launch were faked?
