Ahmadinejad, Erdogan and Assad?

Yes. It’s grossly over simplistic. It might even be a tad offensive and Caroline Glick may not be the most popular woman in Jerusalem’s Anglo writer community and her political opinions may be a tad paleolithic, but, well, funny is funny! And this shit is funny. I mean this #ish is funny. Sorry. Didn’t mean to swear…

  • What exactly do you mean by “her political opinions may be a tad paleolithic?

Could it be that she knows a bit more than you do about the Middle East? For instance that Article 7 of the Hamas Charter reads “O Muslim! there is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him!” http://www.memri.org/report/en/0/0/0/0/0/0/1609.htm
which is taken from hadith Bukhari (Vol 4, Book 52, No. 177) and quotes Prophet Muhammad himself? http://www.usc.edu/schools/college/crcc/engagement/resources/texts/muslim/hadith/bukhari/052.sbt.html

Or perhaps because she knows that if Iran gets the bomb it will use it as the West’s leading scholar of Islam, Bernard Lewis, writes:

“In this context, mutually assured destruction, the deterrent that worked so well during the Cold War, would have no meaning. At the end of time, there will be general destruction anyway. What will matter will be the final destination of the dead–hell for the infidels, and heaven for the believers. For people with this mindset, MAD [mutual assured destruction] is not a constraint; it is an inducement.”

    • Relax there Mladen. There’s nothing you can teach me about the Hamas Charter that I don’t already know. None of us are fans of Islamic fundamentalism or a nuclear armed Iran. I was just getting into the spirit of the video and poking a little fun at Caroline Glick who I am certain is a fine, fine woman. It’s just it’s hard to imagine her as, you know, funny.

  • Hello Ck,
You are intellectual, I suppose. Art crtic are people who hate the art. I guess you don’t like truth if you say what you say about Mrs. Glick.

But you are ultra literalistic, I guess, according to the cheap icon that represents your web-site. How sad. You know something, but understand nothing. I advise you to talk to Mrs. Glick, before you write about “Jerusalem Anglo writers (community of 5.5 people).

You write “there’s nothing you can teach me” and swear in the end of the post. I guess you are Israeli left-wing guy, cause only these guys are so far from Jewish moral that modest say nothing to them. Moreover you are under highbred fellow, as swearing never adds anything, just points on poor vocabulary of yours. and that’s something you can definitely learn form Mrs. Glick.

The clip is actually clever and ingenious, but I guess you just cannot understand it.

I hope you’ll get better after some reading, learning and doing some hard work on your degrees.

    Have a nice weekend,
    Dirty Jewish Beaver.

  • DJB, if one thing is obvious it’s that you didn’t understand what CK wrote. Your luck he didn’t use his impressive range of highbrow vocabulary. 🙂

Now, a scrabble match between Caroline Glick and CK…

  • Latma?
    Stodgy mainstream.
Why isn’t a young, hip, blog like Jewlicious featuring THIS video:

(note: I went ahead and embedded the video into your comment. Hope that’s ok!)

    • B-D! Long time! Are you still into making lampwork glass beads? If so, do you know any website where they sell? (International will be ok; I buy a lot from abroad.)
I’m always looking for nice focal beads for my beading hobby (making necklaces like this one).

  • Wow are you guys ahead on this stuff. It hadn’t hit the Anglo bloggers until today.
