What would we do without Al-Jazeera?

Former Guantanamo detainee, Walid Muhammad Hajj, in an interview on Al-Jazeera, accused the US of using witches and Jews to torture inmates. Here are some excerpts from MEMRI’s translation of the interview:

Walid Muhammad Hajj: The most common method to wear down the brothers was witchcraft.
Interviewer: How did they do this?
Walid Muhammad Hajj: There were, of course, Jews among the [staff of] the Guantanamo Base, and they would set traps for the guys.
Interviewer: Give me an example of witchcraft.
Walid Muhammad Hajj: Witchcraft was used on most of the guys.
Interviewer: They would cast a spell on them?
Walid Muhammad Hajj: Yes, but by the grace of Allah, through frequent reading of the Koran and invocation of the names of Allah, they managed to withstand this.

And what of the aforementioned horny cats?

Interviewer: Did they ever use witchcraft on you?
Walid Muhammad Hajj: There was one attempt.
Interviewer: How did they do it?
Walid Muhammad Hajj: Once, when I was sleeping – on the floor, not on a bed – I suddenly felt that a cat was trying to penetrate me. It tried to penetrate me again and again. I recited the kursi verse again and again until the cat left.
Interviewer: But there wasn’t really any cat there?
Walid Muhammad Hajj: Absolutely not.

You can visit MEMRI for the entire transcript where Walid discusses the other spells that were cast on the detainees, including spells involving talking birds, talking pants (yes pants) and inmates pissing in their milk. Now I can’t speak to the sort of suffering and deprivation Walid went through at Guantanamo. Clearly his mind has snapped and he’s not altogether there. When you mix latent anti-Semitism with batshit insanity, the results can often be somewhat whacky (or wacky, you choose). But why would Al Jazeera run something like this?

Oh. Right.

  • Oh, this has a familiar ring to it. He sounds like a Kabbalist with that mumbo jumbo. How you see how the belief in sorcery is a symptom of a primitive and fanatical mind? Why don’t you ask a Kabbalah cult member (excuse me, “student”) why do they call him the “Rav?” “Berg” was never ordained as a rabbi. In fact, the rabbis issued an official proclamation denouncing the Kabbalah Centre as heretical and charlatanry. Is Kabbalah kosher?

Kabbalah is not a part of the Jewish religion. In fact, it may well be against the Jewish religion. (Read your Tenach.)

Christianity was started by Jews, is that a part of the Jewish religion? Seances, talking with the dead, wizardry, spellcasting, chanting incantations, reincarnation, raising the dead, exorcisms, lucky numbers, astrology, cartomancy, palmistry, prophecy, clairvoyance, conjuring, invocation, evocation, idolatry, televangelism, faith healing, animal sacrifice, and blood ritual? Excuse me, that is pretty far from the Jewish religion I know.

Kabbalah is sorcery, it is voodoo. This has gone on quite long enough. When we’ve reached the point where “magic” is being taught in schools instead of science, fact, and reason, it’s time to put the gypsies out of business. Now, this is an affront to both science and religion. These people are the enemies of truth and reason. Who is the Kabbalah Centre? What is the Kabbalah Centre?

It is a racket whose time has come. If you have any information about this nefarious bunch of scoundrels, please get in touch with us at [email protected]. All information will be checked out. It’s too late to stop Bernie Madoff, but we can stop the Berg gang.
