  • A hypothetical question (which I will answer): Why are people who view child pornography “dangerous” to children, whereas people who view “normal” pornography are not considered dangerous to adults?

    1. Because it is much easier to prey on and manipulate children than it is an adult.

    2. Because child porn is illegal – a violation of the basic rights of children. And someone who doesn’t see that/respect that is a potentially dangerous person.

    3. Because just as other porn reinforces real-life attractions, when someone habitually looks at images of children in a sexual/porn context, their brain is being trained to be be attracted/stimulated sexually when seeing children.

    In short, it’s a problem.
