frightening? me? oy, if you only knew …
feel free to steal away
less frightening pic than the first… i like your style, dude. (mind if i steal it? …but only starting with night 3, natch)
I think that the direction you light depends whether you are sepharadi or ashkenazi. You throw a latke up in the air… greasy side up and its left to right….
you place the candles from right to left, but light them from left to right – newest candle first. In the photo, the viewer is facing the menorah and I am behind it… but good eye!
Always start lighting on the side closest to the latkes.
This is an ignorant question, but I thought you were supposed to light the ones to the right first? Or is it that the ones facing the window must be on the right from the outside. Or something. Thanks
Right. You took your candles to the woods and set them free. Laurence, you are sooo full of crap.
😉
That’s what I’m supposed to do with them?
And here I was, going out to the woods and setting them free.
