You don’t have to pay-to-pray, dress-to-kill, doze off, question your tribal affiliation, be fluent in Hebrew, hear lengthy moralizing or politically divisive sermons, and eat stale honey cake this Rosh Hashanah.
Jewlicious is running our own version of the High Holidays in Los Angeles. It’s a totally out-of-the boxexperience called Days of Awesome 2011, a Jewlicious High Holiday Experience. Days of Awesome
starts Thursday September 29th and October 7th and 8th. The Rosh Hashanah program features a one hour non-traditional interactive un-service, shofar, classes, yoga, stories, meditation, song, amazing honey cake, kabbalistic lunch, and a general chill atmosphere. Program requires advanced reservations and are still free while space permits. I will be leading services with other teachers including: Marcus Freed, Tahlia Miller, Harry Nelson, Cheston Mizel, Rabbi Shlomo Seidenfeld and more TBA.
