The tradition of dipping apples into honey is explored by funny man Benji Lovitt. Most importantly, the issue in question is “why honey?” Surely in this modern age, we can come up with an alternative that is more meaningful? Why stick with ancient probably outmoded traditions just because that’s what our parents, grandparents and forefathers did? I mean is the whole apples and honey thing even meaningful anymore?
And Lovitt’s conclusion? Sometimes inherited wisdom is what it is because it, you know, fucking makes sense! Shana Tovah!
