The Holocaust was so dark and vast that Jews around the world struggled to integrate it into their consciousness, despite the hundreds of thousands of survivors in their midst. One of the turning points in even addressing this issue was the capture and trial of Adolf Eichmann, architect of the Final Solution. He was taken and tried, but was it for justice, vengeance or education?
