So, go stand with them!
This coming Wednesday, September 20th at 12 noon (rain or shine!), a National Solidarity Rally is going to take place at the Dag Hammerskjold Plaza on 2nd Ave. and 47th Street in New York City. Sponsored by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations and the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York in cooperation with the United Jewish Communities, UJA-Federation of New York and Jewish Council for Public Affairs (as well like… a bazillion other groups), the rally is meant to be collective call for justice and freedom. Participants are urged to bring shofars and blow on them as the organizers speak out against global terrorism and its state sponsors and demnd the release of all kidnapped Israeli soldiers. The recipients of this message are Iranian President Ahmadinejad and all the other present heads of state who will be gathering at the UN General Assembly.
To get there take the 4, 5, 6 or 7 train to Grand Central Station. For more information contact the Conference of Presidents at 212-318-6111 or [email protected] or the JCRC at 212-983-4800 x 151 or [email protected]. This looks like it’s going to be huge so, like… go! Send us pics!
