...And German Jews belonged in Germany. Polish Jews belonged in Poland. Hungarian Jews belonged in Hungary... and everything was great!
Until it wasn't.
Judaism is not a nationality. But Israel is the only country where Jews can self-determine.

Turning Israel into “the country of the Jews” pushes the idea that Jews are a separate nationality.
