Boys from Golani Brigade at the Kotel on Tish B'Av

Met up with Dan Sieradski and photographer Kitra Cahana last night. We headed down to the Kotel to read Eicah and snap some pics. Pictured above is a group of Golani soldiers fasting and lamenting at the Kotel. You can see more pictures by clicking on the flickr tag below.   • Not a good time for horndogging DB… she’s a Montreal based photographer who took someawesome pics during the Gaza evacuation. She’s currently working on a series about Ethiopian Jews and a Web site will be ready in the next couple of days. We’ll link to it as soon as it is online. Oh and definitely come down to Israel DB. Tell your Dad it’s ok because ck, as is his custom, will buy you a beer. By the way, have you had a barmitzvah?

  • Unfortunately, the news is horrible this Tisha Baav, I suppose we should have expected bad news on this day.

    I am getting a lot of pressure from my family to cancel my trip, which is in the next couple of weeks.

    I have to consider their ideas. It’s a little diff when you are someone’s father.
