Did you ever notice that “challah+shalom=chalom”? Here’s to living the dream, and to the dream-life, of Shabbat.

  • Beautiful, beautiful. I hear baking bread is extremely fulfilling, especially as you get to “take Challah,” which is one of the “Three Women’s Mitzvot” but I have never yet done it.

    It must be great to do that.

    I read there is a way to avoid kneading. If you just give the dough 24 hours to rise, it will knead itself, with very little yeast, I read in the newspaper.

    Someday I am going to do this. I really am.
