First they unnecessarily tasered a Jewish University of Florida student – you’re all familiar with that story of course. Now comes news that members of the Ocala Florida PD roughed up and tasered a guy who wouldn’t drop his Koran on the floor. Geez. A little sensitivity training would go a long way I think. In fact more training for Florida cops, period. All charges of resisting arrest against Jeffrey Shields, 49 of Ocala have been dropped and 4 OPD officers are being investigated by Internal Affairs.
