A while back The Middle kicked off a series of posts on the issue of Kol Isha in Israel with a suggestion. Well the women of Efrat have apparently come up with their own solution.

Yes! Apparently Orthodox Jewish women read Greek mythology and apply it to daily life. 😉
Hmmm. It seems to me there was a humorous Greek story about the women of a town withholding sex from the men in order to influence them while trying to stop a senseless war. . .
My “suggestion” has apparently pissed off numerous people. Therefore, it is clearly superior to anything else that has come along. 😉
By the way, I spoke to a young married couple about this and the woman said that my suggestion was offensive and wrong. Instead, she suggested that men would drop the whole Kol Isha thing if wives as a community withheld sex from their husbands until they did what the women wanted.
