Recently Blake Ross, lead developer of the Firefox Web browser had an item on his blog describing an encounter between his Grandfather and the “head Rabbi of Israel” at a Florida airport. See, Blake’s Grandfather is clearly proud of his grandson and has taken it upon himself to evangelize on behalf of Firefox to pretty much everyone he meets. So apparently Gramps ran into the Rabbi (and his 6 policeman security detail) and here’s what happenned:
I returned from the bathroom just in time to hear my grandfather say: “I use Firefox religiously. Have you heard of it?†… Religiously. To the head Rabbi of Israel. Wince. Wince. Wince. Cut to me stuffing my head between my knees, wondering if my grandfather and a Rabbi were going to get in a fistfight, pondering whose side the six cops were going to take, then wondering if my grandfather would evangelize Firefox to his fellow prisoners … “Firefox?†The Rabbi stops and thinks for a minute, rubbing his beard. “Ah yes! The one that blocks all the schmutz.â€
Firefox is indeed a superior Web browser and I have been using it since it came out. The Rabbi in question, presumably Rabbi Yona Metzger, Israel’s Chief Ashkenazic Rabbi, was indeed out of town at the time of this encounter (Party in Bogota, Colombia. I’m not kidding). However, when contacted by Maariv, Rabbi Metzger’s spokesman said that the Rabbi did not recall the meeting. He did however add, on the shmutz issue, that “anything that contributes to the modesty of the sons and daughters of Israel, is a blessing.” Whatever. Firefox is great, way better than Internet Exploiter, I mean Explorer, and it does block unwanted pop ups and spyware very nicely. Get Firefox now! And if you do find that ads are still an issue look into free ad blockers.

andy, yes you can.
you set your homepage to http://www.jewlicious.com|www.google.com etc and itll load multiple tabs on startup. the | is the divider. or even easier, open all the ones you want up, then in tools->options hit “use current pages”.
I’m wondering, Firefox users. With FF can you have multiple start pages in the same browser window like with the Opera browser?
