On behalf of the entire Jewlicious gang, I’d like to wish you all a Shana Tova U Metukah! It’s been quite an interesting year for us, to say the least. We enjoyed our eighth annual Jewlicious Festival aboard the Queen Mary – the first outside the confines of the Long Beach JCC. We recently held our third annual Summer Fest at the Brandeis Bardin Institute in Simi Valley. Last week Jewlicious helped organize the first Taglit-Birthright Israel alumni event in Israel in a while. As we speak Rabbi Yonah is in the midst of organizing Days of Awesome 2012, free holiday services brought to you by Jewlicious and Jconnect. And there is no rest in Jewlicious-land as we organize our gala fundraiser in November – stay tuned for those details.
And of course there’s the blog. Others have come and gone and floundered and returned and more than 8 years later after Jewlicious was created in a design agency loft in Montreal, we are still here. Any time I think of packing it in, I look at our stats and I see that you guys just keep coming. Yikes! So here we are. Still here, still doing what we do, whatever that is. As you contemplate the coming year, maybe you want to also contemplate how you can help this otherwise lowly and modest blog. You can make a donation for instance. My DSLR is getting seriously rough around the edges… no donation is too small or too modest – every little bit helps. We understand that times are tough though. You can help simply by sharing Jewlicious with your friends and family – use one of the many share and like buttons located throughout the site. Also, if you have something to say, let us know – we accept submissions or hot tips that are topically related to what Jewlicious does as well as comments on any of our stories.
So yeah. Have a good one. Shana Tova!
