An introspective look at the life and death of Shira Banki from family, friends and mourners of Zion at her funeral. A conflicted moral society broke out into chaos last week over the controversial Gay Pride Parade in Jerusalem, and the the casualty was a 16 year old girl. Accusations of police negligence surfaced after suspect Yishai Schlissel, who served 10 years for committing an identical attack on the parade in 2005, stated in an interview just weeks before this attack “what bothers me is that one of the rules of war is that you have to stick to your goal and accomplish it.” Rabbi Shmuley Boteach and Dr. Rafi Shulcat help us understanding from a Torah perspective how we can heal, rebuild and accept our differences.
