Conga for Gaza!Reuters reports that over “100,000 Israelis have joined hands in a human chain from Jerusalem to the Gaza Strip to protest against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s plan to pull Jewish settlers from the occupied territory.” OK, maybe it wasn’t a conga line per se, but it did stretch for 60 almost unbroken miles, from the Northern Gaza strip to the Western Wall in Jerusalem. And it was festive, with demonstrators sporting Israeli flags, orange caps and t-shirts (representing Gaza for some reason) and blowing horns. What’s more festive than an orange cap and horns?
