Are you in Jerusalem today? If so join us for our Annual Sfinjapalooza celebration where we fry up a zillion Moroccan Sfinj donuts in celebration of Hanukkah. There will be a virtual tour of the Hanukkah menorahs in our neighborhood via Zoom and I will teach you, live via Zoom, how to make Sfinj at home! For those of you who don’t know – Sfinj are the best donuts you will ever have, ever – a Moroccan classic – and particularly appropriate given newly normalized relations between Israel and Morocco! Yay Peace!!

Here’s a video of us making Sfinj:

And the full Sfinj recipe is here. But really? If you’re in Jerusalem? Just come over and get some. We are wearing masks and surgical gloves while making and distributing these treats. You come to our door, we give you a Sfinj and a shot of Arak and send you on your way! All details on the Facebook Event page for Sfinjapalooza.
