Former Ashkenazi chief rabbi Avraham Shapira has decided to inform those who would obey that any soldiers who participate in evacuating Gaza are performing the equivalent of desecrating the Sabbath and eating non-kosher food.

Oh, and they should disobey their officers and not do it, even if it means going to jail.
