If you will it, it is not a drug induced dreamThe Mullahs are not happy

The Washington Post Times reports that living circumstances are so dire in Iran that some Muslims there are contemplating conversion to Judaism and aliyah. You just can’t make up stuff like this. Now, not only is Madonna more Jewish than you are, but masses of Iranian Muslims are both more Jewish and more Zionist than you.

  • It’s from the “Washington Times,” NOT the “Washington Post.”
    That makes a HUGE difference!

  • Call me ignorant, but what does it being reported by the Washington Times mean?

I personally think this is insane!

  • If they are willing to study for 2 to 5 years with Orthodox rabbis, then good luck to them – they’re gonna need it!

  • 😆

Dan, the Washington Times is owned by the Moonies. It usually shows an unabashed right leaning bias and many people claim that it is several degrees below the Washington Post and other mainstream papers in terms of journalistic quality.

  • The Wash Times is owned by the Moonies, it is one of the crapest newspapers in America and wouldn’t trust it for anything.

They even once reported that rap group Outkast are Jewish…

Their reporting is not exactly the stuff most reporters would want to be associated with.

  • I am an Iranian who converted to Judaism and lives now in Israel dear friends. But ok I grew up in Germany….
But I have a friend in Iran who wants to convert and he risks his life my friends. They would torture and execute him. I do not think that there are many of those brave Iranians but they exist….

    • Hi Amir
I’m also from Iran and I’m converting in Judaism. I don’t know where your location is but if you are living in Iran I don’t think you can do your conversion there. You need a synagogue and a rabbi in a Jewish community. So I think first you need to move abroad, in a country with a Jewish community. Just remember all the Jewish communitirs will not convert you. For example, I heard three iranians who moved in Azerbaijan to convert in Judaism but its Jewish community rejected them. Convetsion in Judaism needs a long time, it depends to what type of judaism

  • Of course all of the Iranians who are seeking to convert in Judaism know the Israeli government really doesn’t like to let any of us convert in Judaism in Israel.
Even in Iran the most of Jewish people hate us. Our conversion in Judaism looks offensive for them.
In other hand Iranian Christians are really embracing others. That’s what is bothering me, someone like me who has the desire to convert in Judaism must be alone but Iranian Christian converts are protecting each other well in Iran. I don’t know why Iranian Jews are not ashamed because of their behavior with us.
