Juan Cole did not get a job at Yale, but he is happy with his job at Disney World.
I am very happy at the University of Michigan, which has among the largest and oldest Middle East Studies programs in the United States. It is like Disney World for a Middle East specialist.

Of course, the Internet is now full of discussions where they are blaming the very same non-existent Jewish cabal he has been blaming for years for the US presence in Iraq, so expect this to be bad for the Jews like everything else. 😉
Maybe Juan can apply to take on The Lobby at the Kennedy School. Meanwhile, my alma mater does the right thing. ‘Light and Truth’ indeed (and in Hebrew, no less).
