Imagine you had a tiny projector that you could attach to your cell phone, digicam, iPod whatever. How cool would that be? Well, thanks to Israeli innovation and ingenuity, this may soon be a reality! Explay, an Israeli-based high tech company has developed a nano projector – a tiny handheld device that uses hybrid lasers and LED light source to project an image.
Dubbed the Oio, it will be on show at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week. The Oio is small and self contained, and the company has plans, BIG plans, for it to be incorporated into all kinds of digital devices as a simple drop-in component, ideal for impromptu slideshows. It’ll be small, affordable, battery operated and fun for the whole family, huh?
