  • Notice in that poster that Frank Winston is the honoree

Atty Frank Winston started the Northern California Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and helped to start the Jewish Heritage Night at the Giants. They expect 2500 Members of the Tribe to attend (not the Indians)

The Giants, based on the success of similar programs in NYC with the Mets and LA with the Dodgers, started the night in 2005

  • By the way… a Giant scarf is nice… but a pair pants in gabardine, or some socks would be nicer. no?

also.. India Independence night’s hat looks really sweet!

finally, hmm.. when did a man dressed like a Hasid with a beard become the symbol of Jewish heritage? Shouldn’t it be an accountant with a outfielder’s mitt? or a physician? or a Catskills comedian?
