This is not going to be one of those complicated posts. Nope. Are we going to contemplate the historical revisionist perspective of the Maccabees? Are we going to contemplate the significance of light during these winter months and how that represents the promotion of knowledge, truth and justice in an ever darkening world? What about Wikileaks? Can we talk about that? The Jewish Agency’s first new mandate in 62 years? No. This is all about donuts.

This tweetup, which is just a thinly veiled excuse for donut consumption and probably has little or nothing to do with using social media to save the Jews and make money, is sponsored by the Jewish Agency and the Inbal Hotel. If you’re in Jerusalem you should go because, well, free donuts yo! And since its at the Inbal you know they’re going to be fancy shmancy donuts. Not those shvachy donuts you get at the shuk at the end of the day, the one’s they’re trying to sell for like 10 donuts for 3 shekels. Nope. None of those. These are going to be good donuts. Look at how happy Jewish Agency Chairman Nathan Scharansky looks as he contemplates that magic donut! So here are the details:

Wednesday, December 8 · 6:00pm – 10:00pm
Candle Lighting at 6:30 pm
Inbal hotel, Jerusalem
Jabotinsky St. 3
Light refreshments will be served
RSVP on facebook

See you there bitches!

  • No, there is no scientific evidence to support this. However, with that said, crackling noises and joints that crack when making movements can be a sign of Arthritis, which is a symptom of arthritis called Crepitus. So, if joints crackle all the time or when making normal movements, it would be something to keep an eye on.
