The plan is that we will take photos and blog about where we went and what we did during the course of this trip. Taglit-birthright israel has certain requirements regarding the trip elements and Oranim has a very packed and interesting itinerary planned, so we won’t lack for anything to write about. Trip participants will have their friends and family visit the site, and those of you who, for whatever reason, can’t join us, will be able to experience the trip vicariously. The question I have is what do you all want to see? Should we let participants contribute? Should we try to put in some video? What do you want? Tell us and we’ll do it!
In other news, the lead up to the trip has been quite exciting. Despite having led 3 previous birthright trips, we underwent madrich training and went over the minute details of the itinerary with Oranim. We’ve already spoken to most of the trip participants and we are now duly infused with the sense of purpose behind this whole undertaking. Hopefully we’ll live up to the confidence placed in us by Taglit-birthright israel and Oranim and adequately pass on this sense of purpose to the kids. Because after all, it’s all about the kids, isn’t it?
this trip is a gift from Taglit-birthright israel.

I’m with Stacy – Bus 5 ruled! 🙂 You guys did a great job running the trip for us last summer and I wish I could go again this year! I know you’ll show this year’s group a good time!
big brother, you look nice and tan.
oooh lalala….
Vicariously, I’d like to relive my trip from last summer with the pictures you never posted!
Otherwise, I do think it would be cool to let the participants contribute and post their thoughts and views of the trip.
Have a great time, even though these “kids” will never be as cool as bus 5 was. 🙂
What happened to IsraelExperts?
I am still bitter about this summer. I was promised super rad fun with CK and Laya and I had to settle for quasi rad fun with sub-par madrichim.
If I make it to Israel in August, I think you two owe me a beer and at least a quasi tour of Jerusalem 😉
