You know the routine – if you are between the ages of 18 and 26, Jewish, and have never been to Israel on an organized peer trip, then you can go this winter – for FREE! Today is the first day to register yourself for a free 10-day birthright israel trip if you want to go this winter. Availability has been severely curtailed so if you REALLY want to go you are strongly urged to get the process started ASAP.
Who should you choose as your trip provider? Well, if you’re in the US and want to go with a trip provider that insists on an open minded, unaffiliated, educational approach, then may we humbly urge you to consider IsraelExperts.com. Laya, Alli and I have all worked as madrichim (group leaders) for IsraelExperts (as has Ariella at urban/achiever and Jewschool) and can attest to their sterling reputation and fantastic results – the ideal combo of enlightenment and fun! So get going, register now or call IsraelExperts at 1-800-772-2452. That number will get you straight to their office in Israel, toll-free, and if you’re lucky you’ll speak to laya who is there on a temporary gig manning the phones. Go for it!

I am going! Will I be able to give Laya a backrub?
Grrrrr…. we need some trips for older people too. *pout*
Do we get to cuddle with laya if we go? In a completely innocent manner of course. And we promise not to tell anybody about it either.
Well, I am sure you will have a great time. Let me know who your madrichim are, maybe I know ’em, and I’ll let you know what to expect – heh. And yes, if you are from Calgary, hanging out with Montrealers is not just cool but it is imperative. Everyone knows that montrealers are the coolest sexiest people in North America.
Thanks mang.
Everyone here in Cowtown who has been has come back a little more religious. I guess that speaks volumes for the secular life we lead out here.
I’m definitely looking forward to it. Especially since all of my MOTL buddies are going this winter. It’s going to be wikkid.
Jason – CIE has several dates, most of which will not be during exams. CIE or the Canada Israel Experience is pretty much the only choice for Canadians wishing to do the birthright thing. You’ll have a great time though – CIE stays in great hotels, serves 3 meals a day instead of the usual 2, and the israel part of the organization are great, great people. Anyhow, you are not locked into any specific date – someone from CIE will get in touch with you shortly and you can rejig your dates so as to correspond with your exam schedule. Whatever though… make sure to go! You’ll have a great time!
So I just registered with CIE… but I don’t know the dates. Can anyone help me out? I mean, if the trip is during exams, then I’m not going.
I selected the DEC 04/05 CIE trip, if that helps.
