Just in time for Halloween, the appropriately named Adnan Al-Ghoul (I’m not kidding), chief bomb maker of Hamas, was rendered permanently inactive by Israeli rockets fired from an unmanned drone (cool!). Wanted since 1987, Ghoul was the number two man of Hamas’s military wing. His elimination is considered “the biggest blow to Hamas since Israel killed Gaza leader Abdel-Aziz al-Rantissi in April.” Hamas supporters have vowed to avenge his death with more suicide bombings as soon as they figure out how to make bombs again.

Drone kill Ghoul? Kewl!
Whatever Michael. In any language, he’s a ghoul now – that’s for sure. Heh.
Interestingly enough, ghoul in English is an Arabic loan word (thus the name of the star Algol)–so, like, does his name actually mean “The Ghoul?”
By the way: A missile from an unmanned Israeli drone slammed into Ghoul’s car in Gaza City, killing him and an aide, witnesses said.
They used to escape when they heard a chopper near their car, but I’m sure the drones are much quieter so it’ll become easier to get these murderers in the future.
Well deserved killing of a murderer. May they have many more like it.
