  • ck: quotes, obviously

    “Ok, now show me yours.”
“This is where the nice BBC cameraman told me to get shot so they could have a story tonight.”
“This is what my sister does to distract other guards like you.”

  • Soldier: “Show me where your mommy and daddy tried to strap the bomb to you, to prove how much they love you.”

  • The point? The point is that we have come to this, where it’s normal to check little children for suicide bombs. It fucks up their population, but don’t think it doesn’t fuck up ours. That soldier is no longer the person he was before this service.

By the way, this is in Hebron where soldiers get very rough and unpleasant treatment from settlers not infrequently. Needless to say, the Palestinians don’t love them too much either, although they sometimes rely upon the soldiers there for protection.

    Le’an hig’anu?

  • 1. “Beads! I want my beads! You promised me beads!”

    2. “That’s not a rash. Those are just nipples, chabibi. Now get out of here.”

    3. Puts up middle finger “This is my gang sign. What’s yours?

Yeah… just hilarious. There are some things to have a sense of humor about, and Israel having to search little kids like this, and for good reason but also with the knowledge that it will inevitably serve to further the conflict- that’s not one of them.
