Natalicious

If Natalie Portman keeps this up, we’re going to have to rename this blog. But what the hey, first Natalie caught our attention with her Gangsta vid on SNL and now she imparts pearls of wisdom to Professor Stuart Gottlieb’s Terrorism and Counterterrorism class at Columbia University. The Harvard grad was there as part of an MTV-U promotion for her latest flick, V for Vendetta, in which her “character mounts a revolutionary campaign against a totalitarian government and generally blows shit up.”

Natalie and Professor Gottlieb’s class watched a Frontline documentary on Al Qaeda, Guantanamo and the CIA’s counterterrorism tactics after which Miss Portman opined as follows:

– “My immediate reaction is that torture is wrong.”
– “I don’t think it’s right to take down the Twin Towers.”
– “Censorship is bad.”

Uh… well, that was thought provoking. But kudos to Natalie for putting herself out there and … stuff. In other news, her hair is growing out nicely, no?

  • She should keep her hair short… she’s blazing hot this way. IMHO, the world would be a better place if more women had shorter hair. And having read and love “V for Vendetta”, I’m stoked about the film, which looks amazing.

  • If she weren’t so damn talented, I’d object to her being featured so often, here and on other Jewish blogs. But I know it’d do not an ounce of good to protest, because the Jewish boys would readily have me beheaded for treason to save their precious Natalie.

  • I, for one, don’t quite get it either. She is all over the place these days, and not just on Jewish sites.
