Well…I’m afraid it’s done.

The Air Force has killed the Palestinian Authority’s Interior Ministry General Supervisor, Jamal Abu Samhadana, who ruled over one of the most powerful terrorist organizations in Gaza.

At least three other people were killed and seven others were wounded in the attack. Abu Samhadana was considered to be one of the most wanted individuals by Israel.

He survived at least four previous assassination attempts and was wanted from the time of the first intifada.

Where did they get him and his comrades? At a training camp.

The Hamas leadership is being very aggressive about this in the media right now. They are claiming they will rethink their posture toward Israel, as if anybody didn’t notice that they had placed Samhadana in charge of their fighting forces and as if earlier today they didn’t condemn the killing of al Zarqawi.

Update: Ha’aretz is reporting that within the last several hours over 90 security alerts are identified by security services. Obviously this killing has mobilized many of the Palestinian groups involved in attacking Israelis.

And if that killing didn’t, then the swatting of a Mosquito from Tulkarem would’ve.
