Barbra Streisand announced today that she will play 20 concerts in the US this coming October and November. Well, Barbra didn’t exactly make the announcement, her manager Martin Erlichman did, but whatever, you get the point. This is the 64-year old star’s first tour in 12 years, and she has stated that proceeds from the shows will go to a variety of causes, including the environment, education and women’s health. The money will be distributed through the Streisand Foundation. Oy! I’m getting shpilkes just thinking about it!
Actually, I’m not. I don’t even know what shpilkes are.
