The New York Times describes: At the De Prague Cafe in Beirut, it is possible to have a quiet beer and conversation. A few miles away, Israeli jets are leveling Shiite districts.

  • I am not that happy wit the way this is going. The Israelis are still doing too much dancing.

    They so want to be loved. Instead of really letting the Huzzies have it, once and for all, this is freaking it, goodbye huzzies.

  • Sounds about right – tactical bombing meets Lebanese indifference. I have a cousin in Lebanon who said he learned to actually LIKE the Kuwaitis, becuase he knew that if Saddam Hussein had invaded Lebanon, everyone would seel each other out as quick as possible…

    How is this related? The outrage you see on TV is one thing, the indifference they generally have for one another is another thing altogether.
