In case you have missed this live version of Israel’s entry into Eurovision. I would love to see a mashup of this and Halleluya.

Messages are exploding on me
Missiles are flying and also falling on me
Police and thieves are running all over me
They jump on me and feed on me
My God, my God, give me answer my God, Hashem
This nightmare is too long
When I’m barely alive and everyone is aiming at me,
Perhaps it’s too early to sing
When I gave you my life
Oh, Oh – the Police
Whoa, Whoa – Rescue Unit
Here is a song without a scale
Red is not just a color, it’s more like blood.

  • I think the Israeli Eurovision entry is brilliant.
He is portraying Israeli fears and pushing the Eurovision’s buttons at the same time.

I think this song – whether banned or not – will show up the shallow politeness of the Eurovision song contest.

It might even get Israel chucked out of Eurovision entirely. (why is Israel in there anyway?) It is Israeli equivalent of Bush’s “you are either with us or you are against us”
